  better by far...

GRATTAN PARK is set on the edge of Claremorris town adjacent to the N60 (the Castlebar and Westport Road). It is a mere stroll from the development into the town itself.

Claremorris town is very well positioned to facilitate commuting to other urban centres. Situated 37 miles (50 mins) from Galway City, many people commute on a daily basis. The recently opened N17 by-pass makes travel to the city easier and has greatly enhanced traffic movement in
the town. Castlebar, Mayo's county town, is a mere 18 miles away and Westport is 30 miles away. Sligo is 50 miles away and takes 1 hour by car.

Claremorris railway station is a hub for all trains travelling to Dublin, Westport and Ballina. Currently there is a major initiative, known as 'West On Track', which is campaining to re-open the rail line between Galway and Sligo. This would provide daily trains from Claremorris to these destinations.
Knock International Airport is only 15 miles from Claremorris (20 mins by car). There are flights to 25 worldwide destinations and daily flights to Dublin, London, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham, Spain and Portugal.

Claremorris is also extremely well serviced by Bus Eireann and a number of private bus companies. In addition there are numerous taxi companies in the town.
