GRATTAN PARK is set on the edge of Claremorris town
adjacent to the N60 (the Castlebar and Westport Road).
It is a mere stroll from the development into the town
itself.
Claremorris town is very well positioned to facilitate
commuting to other urban centres. Situated 37 miles (50
mins) from Galway City, many people commute on a daily
basis. The recently opened N17 by-pass makes travel to
the city easier and has greatly enhanced traffic movement

the town. Castlebar, Mayo's
county town, is a mere 18 miles away and Westport is 30
miles away. Sligo is 50 miles away and takes 1 hour by
car.
Claremorris railway station is a hub for all trains travelling
to Dublin, Westport and Ballina. Currently there is a
major initiative, known as 'West On Track', which is campaining
to re-open the rail line between Galway and Sligo. This
would provide daily trains from Claremorris to these destinations. |

is only 15 miles from Claremorris (20 mins by car). There
are flights to 25 worldwide destinations and daily flights
to Dublin, London, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham,
Spain and Portugal.
Claremorris is also extremely well serviced by Bus Eireann
and a number of private bus companies. In addition there
